Nomination Form and Rules
Entry Deadline is September 15, 2009

Entry Rules:

All entries must be either:
• Five generations purebred with no Appendix animals, due to up breeding, within the five generations or Purebred, herd book registered animals.

• No Appendix recorded animals will be allowed in sale. All animals entered will be screened.

• We will be selling a limited number of bulls. To sell a bull you must also sell one female lot. Remember, we will be very selective on the bulls to be sold, or try to ensure the prices remain high.

• All sale entries must be entered and shown at the 2009 National Belted Galloway Show. If the lot you wish to consign does not fit in the class list, let us know and special consideration may be granted. Example: embryo/semen lots or a special choice lot.

• A $100.00 per lot nomination fee must be included with the nomination form. Please send a separate form for each animal nominated. All entry fees will be credited to your account and applied to your sale expenses. Any animal cataloged, but not sold, will forfeit their entry fee. Animals may be substituted, provided the replacements meet the sale requirements.

• Nomination fee will be refunded if withdrawn before cataloged or if not approved for sale.

• A copy of the registration certificate must be included with all entries. No animal will sell unless the original certificate is with the sale staff on date of sale. For a calf sold with its dam, a registration application must be submitted with the necessary signatures. Transfer papers will be available the day of the sale for your signature.

• Any animal bred, but not calved by sale day, must be checked by a veterinarian and have a letter submitted as to the results of the pregnancy check, by sale day. If animal has been bred via artificial insemination, you must indicate if you are providing the Semen Certificate or if the buyer must obtain it on their own.

• No animal will be sold without the following: paid entry fee, original registration certificate, signed transfer form and having shown in the show unless an exception is granted for special lots.

• Reminder the $100 nomination fee, color pictures and a copy of the front and back of the registration certificate must accompany Nomination forms. Pregnancy check information can be turned in up until the time of the sale.

• Please send completed nomination forms, pedigrees and color photos electronically to Mark Keller at mark@a-americancompanies.com or via US mail to Oak Valley Farm, 9889 Moate Rd., Durand, IL 61024. Nomination fees should be made out to the Belted Galloway Society and sent to same at PO Box 316, Bendersville, PA 17306-0316.

2009 Belted Galloway Society Premium Sale Advertisers Form
Due by September 30, 2009

Catalog
The catalog will be 8.5” by 11”, with a glossy colored cover and black and white on the inside
pages. We will also be selling advertising in the catalog to help cover costs.

Advertising Fees:
Inside front or back cover $150.00 (additional colors or pictures will be extra)
Full page $ 75.00 (black and white only)
Half page $ 50.00 (black and white only)
Quarter page $ 30.00 (black and white only)

Advertisement placement will be on a first come first served basis. The order in which the animals are cataloged will also be by the order in which the forms are received.

Advertisements are due by September 30, 2009.
The sooner the ads are received the better. Prompt arrival of all ads will make layout of the catalog easier. Advertisement space is available to anyone.
