Lazy Acres Ranch is a family operation, dedicated to raising full blood registered Belted Galloway cattle. We are strong believers in the humane treatment of animals. Our herd sire is KK Jessie James, son of '95 World Beef Expo champ Anderson Hill Lothario and grandson of Bolebec Dun Controller, his dam is R&S Demi, also a '96 grand champion at Beef Expo. Our brood cows have Aldermere and Maple Brae bloodlines, including a grand daughter of Maple Brae Timothy. We plan to keep our herd small, and focus on quality bloodlines that will perform well in the show ring as well as on the dinner table.

The Belties grazing our hillside pastures play a central role in the diverse operations at Snake Hill Farm. We concentrate on raising organic beef and also offer breeding stock for occasional sale. We aim to maintain three distinct black Beltie bloodlines, in accordance with guidelines of the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy. To meet USDA organic certification standards and customer preferences, we feed only organic hay and limited amounts of grain. The farm is located about 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland, Ohio, two miles from the OH-306 Exit off US-422. Please contact us for an appointment.

A family-owned operation located in the Amish country of Lancaster County in southeastern PA with additional facilities on the PA/NY border, allowing us to provide quality registered breeding stock and freezer beef throughout the region with delivery available. Patterson Pride Belties are grass-fed with rotational grazing of our pastures in the summer months and quality grass hay provided year-round as needed. Our herd is strongly influenced by Green Arpents and Shiralee Moonshine bloodlines, providing us with the long deep-bodied cow that is the epitome of any cow/calf operation. We actively and proudly promote the Belted Galloway breed and its many attributes. Our herd numbers generally range from 30 to 50 head of Belties in various age groups. We welcome visitors and inquiries. Stop by or drop us a line!!
